Baltimore, Maryland: naming agency services for small businesses

Baltimore naming agency services are provided remotely by Los Angeles-based Names&Naming, a spin-off of Scott Silverman’s branding consultancy, Articulated Brands®. While I certainly don’t mind making the trip to BWI, it’s important to remember that most creative naming assignments can be completed via email and phone. If you’re open to working with someone who isn’t from these parts, I warmly invite you to reach out. I’m also looking to forge dynamic creative collaborations with Baltimore marketing agencies, graphic designers and website development companies. Hit me up!

Baltimore naming

Since this website page is about Baltimore naming, it seems appropriate to talk about the naming of Baltimore, Maryland itself.

Naming Baltimore wasn’t the result of a bunch of thesaurus work. No, as with most city names, there’s a story behind Baltimore’s naming. The Calvert family, of Irish descent, was one of the original land grant owners. Cecil Calvert was the second Lord Baltimore in the Irish House of Lords, and the city was named after him. When naming Baltimore highlights, the Inner Harbor, the aquarium, Camden Yards and Fells Point’s rowhouses come to mind.

Not just Baltimore name consulting, positioning and branding! Columbia, Silver Spring, Germantown and Washington D.C. brand naming, too!

When Baltimore’s businesses need cool and catchy company name ideas, unique product name ideas, positioning and branding consulting, as well as copywriting, design and other creative support, they can count on Names & Naming and my brand consultancy, Articulated Brands®, which operates out of Los Angeles. But businesses in Baltimore’s surrounding cities, especially small businesses in Washington D.C., Columbia, Silver Spring and Germantown, also need help naming and branding. So long as you don’t mind working via telephone and email, I’m happy to serve as your Germantown, Silver Spring, Columbia and Washington D.C. brand agency, too.
