Houston, Texas: naming agency services for small businesses

Houston naming agency services are provided remotely by Los Angeles-based Names&Naming, a spin-off of Scott Silverman’s branding consultancy, Articulated Brands®. While I certainly don’t mind making the trip to IAH, it’s important to remember that most creative naming assignments can be completed via email and phone. If you’re open to working with someone who isn’t from these parts, I warmly invite you to reach out. I’m also looking to forge dynamic creative collaborations with Houston marketing agencies, graphic designers and website development companies. Hit me up!

Houston naming

Since this website page is about Houston naming, it seems appropriate to talk about the naming of Houston, Texas itself.

Naming Houston wasn’t some plum name generation assignment that happily landed in the in-box of some big branding and naming agency. Quite the contrary, Houston naming has everything to do with city’s founding. After the Texas revolution in 1836, the wealthy Allen brothers decided to buy property, start a town on a beautiful bayou (a marshy outlet of a lake or river) and name it after the man whose army had defeated Mexican troops, Sam Houston. Texas’ most populous city and the fourth largest city in the U.S., Houston is known for its Space Center, historic buildings, fine dining and unique mix of upbeat energy and down-home hospitality.

Not just Houston name consulting, positioning and branding! Austin, El Paso, Fort Worth and Dallas brand naming, too!

When Houston’s businesses need cool and catchy company name ideas, unique product name ideas, positioning and branding consulting, as well as copywriting, design and other creative support, they can count on Names & Naming and my brand consultancy, Articulated Brands®, which operates out of Los Angeles. But businesses in Texas’ other big cities, especially small businesses in Dallas, Austin, El Paso and Fort Worth, also need help naming and branding. So long as you don’t mind working via telephone and email, I’m happy to serve as your Austin, El Paso, Fort Worth and Dallas brand agency, too.
