Jacksonville, Florida: naming agency services for small businesses

Jacksonville naming agency services are provided remotely by Los Angeles-based Names&Naming, a spin-off of Scott Silverman’s branding consultancy, Articulated Brands®. While I certainly don’t mind making the trip to JAX, it’s important to remember that most creative naming assignments can be completed via email and phone. If you’re open to working with someone who isn’t from these parts, I warmly invite you to reach out. I’m also looking to forge dynamic creative collaborations with Jacksonville marketing agencies, graphic designers and website development companies. Hit me up!

Jacksonville naming

Since this website page is about Jacksonville naming, it seems appropriate to talk about the naming of Jacksonville, Florida itself.

Naming Jacksonville didn’t involve a whole lot of committee work or a brainstorming meeting led by an unshaved intern named Brian. Of course not. Like with most city names, Jacksonville naming is directly connected to its past. Originally called Cowford, due to the herding of cattle in and around the St. Johns River, Jacksonville was later named after the nation’s seventh president, Andrew Jackson, who had previously been military governor of the Florida Territory. Today’s Jacksonville attracts crowds, both businesses and tourists, offering beaches, resplendent nature and outdoor family activities, ample nightlife and affordable living. Due to its musical heritage, it also hosts fans of both the blues and southern rock.

Not just Jacksonville name consulting, positioning and branding! Tallahassee, Daytona and Gainesville brand naming, too!

When Jacksonville’s businesses need cool and catchy company name ideas, unique product name ideas, positioning and branding consulting, as well as copywriting, design and other creative support, they can count on Names & Naming and my brand consultancy, Articulated Brands®, which operates out of Los Angeles. But businesses outside Jacksonville, especially small businesses in Gainesville, Tallahassee, Daytona and other Florida cities, also need help naming and branding. So long as you don’t mind working via telephone and email, I’m happy to serve as your Tallahassee, Daytona and Gainesville brand agency, too.
